Nigerian Striker At Ajax

Nigerian Striker At Ajax

As predicted by the Siya crew, Nigerian striker Musa Najare has arrived in South Africa and is undergoing a trial at Ajax Cape Town.

The 21-year-old comes highly rated, having finished as the top goal scorer in the 2013 Federation Cup, scoring five goals for Warri Wolves. He can also play as an attacking midfielder and could be a great addition to the Urban Warriors squad, with the likes of Lebogang Manyama rumoured to be on the way out.

Najare was apparently supposed to have started his Ajax training last week, but had visa problems and couldn't travel at the time, but the club have now confirmed that he is training under the watchful eye of Muhsin Ertugral.

If the player impresses, he is only likely to sign in the January transfer window, after negotiations between Ajax and his current club.
