CT Spurs Boost Survival Hopes, Durban City Held

University of Pretoria 1-1 Orbit College

Orbit College missed the chance to close the gap on the Motsepe Foundation Championship leaders after drawing 1-1 with University of Pretoria.

AmaTuks took the lead through Samuel Julies five minutes before the halftime break.

However, Orbit struck late in the second half to secure a point courtesy of a strike from Siyabulele Mabele.

Leruma United 0-0 Durban City

League leaders Durban City endured a frustrating afternoon after being to a goalless draw by bottom-placed Leruma United.

City remain top of the top of the table, but now sit six points above the chasing pack.

Leruma, meanwhile, find themselves three points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table.

Kruger United 2-0 Upington City

Kruger United boosted their promotion hopes with a 2-0 win over Upington City on Saturday afternoon.

Thulani Ndlela opened the scoring in the 31st minute for the home side, before Bright Ndlovu doubled the lead in the second half.

Kruger have moved up to second spot to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.

Casric Satrs 2-0 Milford

Casric Stars made it back-to-back wins in the Championship with a 2-0 triumph over Milford FC.

Medupi Thokolo got his first league goal of the season, while Thabang Rakwena sealed the win in the second period.

Hungry Lions 2-2 Black Leopards

Hungry Lions and Black Leopards shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in Upington on Saturday afternoon.

Leopards remain in seventh position while Lions find themselves in 10th position.

Venda Football Academy 3-0 JDR Stars

JDR Stars' promotion hopes suffered a blow after losing 3-0 to Venda Football Academy at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

Rankoko Tau, Banele Gama and Matimu Tshabalala got the goals for the home side on the day.

Baroka FC 0-2 Cape Town Spurs

Cape Town Spurs continued their push for survival with a 2-0 win away to Baroka FC.

Therlo Moosa continued his form in front of goal by bagging a brace on the night.

Ernst Middendorp's men remain in 15th position, but sit one point behind Venda Football Academy heading into the international break.

Highbury 0-0 Pretoria Callies

Highbury and Pretoria Callies could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw on Friday night.

Callies sit two points above the relegation zone in 13th spot while Highbury move up to ninth spot.
