In a world where coaches often want long term deals to work with clubs, Manqoba Mngqithi has only signed a contract until the end of the season and agent Mike Makaab has given insight into this decision.
Arrows confirmed the return of Mngqithi on Monday, two days after going down 2-0 to TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium. With Musa Bilankulu and Kagisho Dikgacoi at the helm, Arrows had been going through a difficult period, with just one victory in six Betway Premiership matches before chairlady Mato Madlala called on the services of Mngqithi to ensure things don't go from bad to worse.

As things stand, 11th-placed Arrows are just three points ahead of 15th-placed Magesi FC, which shows how close they are to the relegation zone.
With his experience, Mngqithi's job is to make sure the club finish comfortably, without the stress that comes with fighting relegation.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Makaab explained why Mngqithi signed a deal until the end of the campaign.
"Only until the end of the season, because that's the contract both parties wanted to enter into. I think it's a case of seeing how things progress and then we can take it from there. Arrows have two young coaches and the idea is to have a composed (and) seasoned person just to help and guide (them). KG and Musa are two top class young coaches," Makaab said to the Siya crew.

"At times, in difficult periods, you need a little bit of an experience and a calm head to help you, so that's the main reason. And, he knows the club. He and the chairlady have a very good relationship, so all of these things are important factors when it comes to selecting a coach in a particular moment."
Mngqithi is understood to be looking at the possibility of coaching outside the country and will weigh his options at the end of the campaign.
Mngqithi's short tenure will start with a clash against his former side Mamelodi Sundowns at Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale, KZN, on Wednesday night.
