Despite being named Man of the Match in the ABSA Premiership 1-0 win over Tuks on Thursday night at the Orlando Stadium, Orlando Pirates defender Thabo Matlaba was not happy with his performance.
Matlaba believed he had made too many mistakes, but said he will learn from them and improve the next time he plays.
Matlaba said that Tuks were not an easy team to play against, but that his side had been patient and got the goal.
"Tuks were a difficult game to play you know, they are a difficult side to play.
"They come here and were defending too much, they were not attacking us, but relying on the counter-attack, but we managed to hold back, and be patient with the ball until we get the goal.
"We're still learning from our mistakes, I'm not happy about my performance, I'm still going to learn a lot, I played too much into the space, but I can't get there, but next time I will do better."
