The talented but controversial player finished the season without a club. Having started off with Platinum Stars where he became one of their most influential players due to some inspiring performances, Zongo was released from the Phokeng club last month for disciplinary issues.
Eagles' general manager Richard Makhoba has confirmed to the Siya crew that the 26-year-old has been signed by the KZN outfit ahead of the 2016/17 season.
"We have welcomed Zongo to our club. There is no doubt in his ability and we believe that he will add value to the club. We have a good environment here and are confident that he will fit into our environment," said Makhoba.
