Madondo's Omission Explained

Madondo's Omission Explained

The Siya crew can reveal that AmaZulu midfielder Kulegani Madondo is properly registered to play for the KZN side, despite the omission of his name from the list of players released by the league.

Soccer-Laduma revealed that Kulegani Madondo's name doesn't appear on the list of AmaZulu players released by the league, although the midfielder has played in all three games for Usuthu so far this season.

However, AmaZulu's team manager Japhet Zwane confirmed to the Siya crew that the player is properly registered to play for Craig Rosslee's outfit in the 2013/14 campaign.

A source in the PSL confirmed that Madondo's omission from the list was a genuine mistake from the league.

"This was our mistake," said the source.

Madondo has been with AmaZulu since last season, after the 23-year-old secured a move from Maritzburg United.
