Siya sources have informed the Siya crew that stalwart Orlando Pirates skipper and veteran defender, Lucky Lekgwathi, could possibly be joining the Bucs technical staff as an assistant to head coach, Vladimir Vermezovic.

Previously, the crew had reported that the long-serving Lekgwathi was earmarked for an administrative role at the Parktown-based club as he was expected to hang up his boots at the end of the current campaign at the ripe age of 38-years-old to make way for younger defenders.
Now, the crew has learnt that Vermezovic is eager to tap into Lekgwathi's years of experiences and insight on the club's history by roping him as one of his assistant coaches. The crew understands that the Serb feels Lucky's knowledge could add a different dimension to the technical team.
However sources have further indicated that the 38-year-old could opt for an admin role as further indicated by the crew as it comes with less pressures of a technical coaching seat.
