As previously reported, Kaizer Chiefs and Josta Dladla have decided to part ways when the veteran midfielder's contract expires at the end of June, however he is not deciding to hang up his boots just yet.

In a press release the player said, "I am in great shape, I have been training and feeling better than I have ever felt in a long time and I am looking forward to playing football and passing on some of the experience I have to the youngsters. My legs can still go and I feel like I want to keep on going.
"I have spent nearly seven years at Kaizer Chiefs and I feel like it's time for a new challenge. It was an honor to play for such a great team and I cherish the memories that I have. I thank the Chairman, the Club and the fans for the unbelievable support that they have given me over the years and now it's time to move on."
Meanwhile, the player's agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, said, "Josta is amazing, he feels strong and we are looking at various options. He just wants to play football."

It remains to be seen where 'JD' will be playing his football next season, however it will not be at Naturena.
