Orlando Pirates are aiming to get their league campaign back on track after losing 1-0 to Bidvest Wits last time out, when they welcome Golden Arrows to Orlando Stadium on Wednesday, October 28. The Buccaneers currently find themselves placed in 12th position ahead of the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday. Abafana Bes'thende, who were recently knocked out of the Telkom Knockout cup by holders SuperSport United have been on song in the league since the 2015/16 campain commenced and are presently eighth on the PSL table.    Free scoring Mamelodi Sundowns host the struggling Polokwane City on Wednesday, October 28, at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. The Brazilians easily cruised into the TKO semis after thrashing Free State Stars 6-1 last weekend. Pitso Mosimane's side are in search of their fourth straight win and simultaneously have a mathematical chance of claiming the Q1 prize money of R 1.5 million, provided other results swing their way. Rise and Shine are winless in their last seven outings and last claimed three full points on the opening weekend of Absa Premiership when they narrowly beat Bloemfontein Celtc 3-2.   Manchester City welcome Crystal Palace to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night, October 28, in a Capital One Cup fourth round fixture. The Citizens played it out to a 0-0 draw against fiercest rivals United in the Manchester Derby but still strengthened their position at the summit of the EPL. The Eagles come off a 1-0 loss at Leicester City and are seeking to get back to winning form and record a rare win away from home. The two sides met earlier this season at Selhurst Park when Iheanacho struck in the 90th minute to hand City a 1-0 victory in a league encounter.   If you are a betting person, here are tips ahead of the fixtures brought to you by Soccer 6 and Orlando Pirates legend, Edward 'Magents' Motale.   For more info on this and other matches in the soccer 6 pools, go to the Soccer 6 website here.    ORLANDO PIRATES V GOLDEN ARROWS   League table: Pirates 12th and Arrows 8th   Useful facts: Orlando Pirates' run in Africa seems to have taken a toll on their domestic form, with mixed results in their opening six games of the season. Arrows, on the other hand, have been fairly impressive, with three wins, two draws and two losses. Pirates have absolutely dominated this fixture in recent times, though, winning their last 12 matches against the KwaZulu-Natal side.   Edward Motale: Arrows have been a difficult side, but I don't see disappointment for Pirates. Arrows have looked vulnerable at the back, but they have a clever coach and he will be looking to shut the back door. If it was in Durban, I would have maybe said a draw, but in Orlando I'll give it to Pirates.   MAMELODI SUNDOWNS V POLOKWANE CITY   League table: Sundowns 6th and Polokwane 14th   Useful facts: Mamelodi Sundowns seem to have found their form after in indifferent start to their season. The Brazilians smashed six past Free State Stars to march on in the Telkom Knockout, while Polokwane City have gone through a rough patch, winning just one of their opening seven games. Sundowns have dominated their opponents on recent years, winning all of their last three league matches by scoring nine unanswered goals.   Edward Motale: Sundowns will win and I don't think it will be difficult. Polokwane look like Chelsea at the moment – they are struggling with in-fighting, they don't have much quality and the club has been hit with scandals. I don't think they will come close.   MAN CITY v CRYSTAL PALACE   League table: Man City 1st and Palace 7th   Useful facts: Manchester City are the title favourites but face a tricky fixture against a plucky Crystal Palace side. The Citizens held Manchester United to a draw at Old Trafford in their last league match and enjoy an impressive head-to-head record against the Eagles. In the last 10 meetings, City have won eight while Palace have claimed the spoils twice.   Edward Motale: I'm going to go with Man City. If you look at their game against Manchester United, they had good chances. I believe that the better team always creates more chances. I haven't seen much of Palace this season, but I think Man City will be too strong.
