Marumo Gallants extended their winless run to six matches in the DStv Premiership after playing to a goalless draw with Cape Town City on Tuesday evening.

Gallants made only one change to the team that narrowly beat Swallows, as Thabo Mnyamane replaced Katlego Otladisa in the line-up while City made two changes, with Keanu Cupido and Thabo Nodada returning from the draw with Baroka.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa were absorbing the pressure in the early stages and they had a chance to go ahead from a counter-attack in the 13th minute after Mnyamane went through on goal but Craig Martin made a great tackle.
However, Dan Malesela's charges were opening the game up after that, fancying their chances but that created a physical battle in midfield and the sides can cancelled each other out as the first stanza ended without goals.
The Citizens were enterprising in the early exchanges of the second stanza, as Bradley Ralani had a chance to break the deadlock on the hour-mark after he was sent through on goal by Martin but his shot sailed over the bar.
After several missed chances by City, Tinkler needed fresh legs in the last 20 minutes, as Mduduzi Mdantsane made way for Taahir Goedeman upfront, Katlego Mokhuoane replaced Thato Mokeke in midfield and Abbubaker Mobara came on for Cupido at the back.
The visitors continued to threaten, having the attacking momentum in the closing stages but they did not have the finishing touches, as Gallants held on to the share of the spoils, with both sides still separated by one point just outside the top eight on the table.
