News reaching the Siya crew is that Kaizer Chiefs will hold their annual end of season players' awards ceremony on Friday, to honour the club's top performers for the 2012/13 season.
The Amakhosi had a remarkable campaign under Stuart Baxter, in his first season with the side, claiming both the Absa Premiership and the Nedbank Cup.
A Soccer-Laduma source within the Chiefs camp confirmed that the club's annual players' awards are scheduled for tomorrow, May 31.
"The Kaizer Chiefs' awards ceremony is tomorrow (Friday). We will all be there. I've been told that we will be at Vodaworld (Midrand). We will be there at 6: 30 pm for 7: 00 pm. We will see there who the winners will be," said the source.
Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is expected to pick up several awards, adding to his personal achievements of the 2012/13 campaign.
The Chiefs captain recently won the Footballer of the Season, Players' Player of the Season, Goalkeeper of the Season and Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament awards, at the PSL's end the season awards last weekend.
