Ryan Moon had given Chiefs the lead in the 77th minute with first goal for the club, however Knox Mutizwa struck in stoppage time to earn Arrows a point.
The draw sees the AmaKhosi remain in fourth spot, seven points behind leaders Bidvest Wits.
"A lapse of concentration again. We defend the whole 90 minutes and then the last minute of the game we go and concede again," Cardoso said after the game.
"It's a problem for us at the moment. Conceding such silly goals at such vital times. We've dropped so many points from last minute goals and that's a disappointment going into the next game.
"Because we try and fix it again and we do well, we play good combinations, we create chances. We go 1-0 up and we just can't get that second one and then we conceded at the end."
