The agent who represents MacDonald Makhubedu has confirmed the details of the coach's appointment at a PSL club.
The former Baroka and Polokwane City mentor has replaced Johnny Ferreira as the head coach of Sekhukhune United, as confirmed by the club.
In a statement from Rush Hour Sports Management, the coach's representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi has provided details of the latest developments.
"MacDonald Makhubedu has signed a two-year contract with Sekhukhune United. He is a former Polokwane City coach, and as Rush Hour Sports Management we would like to thank the management of Sekhukhune United, the chairman Simon Malatji and the CEO Jonas Malatji for their belief in the coach," read the statement, as issued by spokesperson Mushadu Mulovhedzi.
"Macdonald is a very good coach who has unfortunately not being given enough chances here in Mzansi. He has always succeeded wherever he has gone in his career. He went to Acornbush United and qualified them for the play-offs and the Nedbank Cup. He went to Baroka and saved the club from relegation. I have no doubt that he will also succeed in this project. We believe in him as his representatives and we are happy with the mandate that he has been given to lead this club to the topflight. He's got a good squad and top management with good vision and a good structure," confirmed the representative.
