Absa Premiership Result: Free State Stars 1-0 Ajax Cape Town Date: 21 April 2015 Venue: Goble Park Robert Sankara's first half goal was enough to earn Free State Stars a 1-0 win over Ajax Cape Town at Goble Park on Tuesday night. Ajax head coach, Roger de Sa, made a total of seven changes from their previous tie against the University of Pretoria. The home side broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when Robert Sankara headed home Hendrick Somaeb's free-kick. After a quiet spell in the half, Urban Warriors' goalkeeper, Anssi Jaakkola, was called into action just before the break, as he kept out Somaeb's powerful effort from distance. Ajax were dealt a blow on the stroke of halftime, as Riyaad Norodien picked up an injury and was replaced by Bantu Mzwakali. The visitors picked up the tempo at the start of the second half and De Sa brought on striker, Nathan Paulse, in the hope bagging an equaliser. The visitors then went close to equalising in the 72nd minute when Tashreeq Morris was denied by a fine save by Daouda Diakite from six-yards out. Camaldine Abraw nearly added a second for the home side in the closing stages with an acrobatic effort, but his scissor kick failed to beat Jaakkola.
