Pitso Mosimane is on the verge of leaving Iran side Esteghlal as the head coach still waits to receive his unpaid wages, the Siya crew has learnt.
The South African coach has been embroiled in an off-field saga in recent months as it was confirmed by Soccer Laduma earlier this month that the head coach has not received his wages for the past two months.
Despite the off-field issues, Pitso has steadied the ship with Esteghlal only losing one of their last 8 matches.

Following two months without the coaching staff being paid their dues, it is understood that the coach's legal team had sent a notice to the club, stating that all outstanding dues must be paid within 15 days.
Despite the club seemingly not fulfilling their end of the bargain, Mosimane chose to stay and was promised that payment will be made in due time.
The publication has now learnt that the coach and his technical team has given the club until end of Tuesday to pay the coaches' owed salaries or the contract will be terminated.
It has been confirmed by a very close source that the club received final notice on Monday which will give them 24 hours or the contract will be terminated.
When contacted for comment, Pitso Mosimane's agent Moira Tlhagale could not be reached.
However, Esteghlal's media officer chose not to comment on the allegations but has insisted that "both parties will cooperate in this matter".
