Thembinkosi Lorch has certainly been Pirates' standout performer in the 2018/2019 campaign, and he has been rewarded with the Players' Player of the Season and the PSL Footballer of the Season awards.   The forward registered nine goals and five assists in 26 appearances as the Buccaneers finished second in the Absa Premiership this season.   Sundowns reigned supreme in the top flight once again this season, and Hlompho Kekana's performances has been recognised with the Midfielder of the Season award.

The 33-year-old, who six league titles to his name, has only missed one of Sundowns' 30 league matches this season.

Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane also walked away with an award after scooping the Coach of the Season accolade, while Ricardo Nascimento was named the Defender of the Season.

SuperSport United were also recipients of awards as Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena were named Goalkeeper of the Season and Young Player of the Season respectively.
