Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Ernst Middendorp has issued a crucial update about the availability of some of their key players ahead of this evening's clash.
Chiefs will host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Orlando Stadium tonight in the most anticipating fixture of the 2019/20 Absa Premiership business end.
However, Amakhosi go into the encounter without a key player in Samir Nurkovic, who will be suspended for the clash.
In addition, the German mentor has since confirmed that a decision about Leonardo Castro's availability for this evening is still unconfirmed, though the likes of Eric Mathoho and Leboganag Manyama will be up for selection.
"Everybody understands what is expected of them this evening. We go into the match fully aware of what is at stake. The stakes are high, and we are prepared for it. The spirit in the camp is high.
"The energy is positive, and we are looking forward to tonight. We will miss the services of Samir Nurkovic and we are waiting for a decision on Leonardo Castro.
"Otherwise the rest of the squad is available for selection, including Mulomowandau Mathoho and Lebogang Manyama who missed the match against Stellenbosch FC. We do not want to reveal much at this stage. We have done our homework on Sundowns. Obviously, there are no certainties in terms of possible line-ups due to the fixtures congestion," Middendorp said on Chiefs official website.
