What Chiefs Match Could Mean For Truter…

Brandon Truter

The match against Kaizer Chiefs could be what AmaZulu coach Brandon Truter needs to get the team back on track with results after the international break.

The improved results earned the Cape Town-born mentor a permanent deal as the head coach of the side after he had joined on caretaker basis in March.

While the team has been inconsistent in getting the desired results so far this season, with some reports suggest that the coach might be on borrowed time, but indications from the Durban-based club's camp are that the management are not pressing any panic buttons as yet and are confident that the team will get the results in the coming matches.

Insiders at Usuthu have revealed that the management is backing Truter to get things right with the team, with the mentor and his technical team targeting this weekend's MTN8 semi-final match against Chiefs to turn things around.

A victory at FNB Stadium on Sunday could go a long way in restoring the confidence in the players for the team to move up in the standings in the league going into the remaining fixtures of the year.
