Promising Kaizer Chiefs talent, Emmanuel Letlotlo, scored as he turned out for the club’s first team against Highlands Park last week.
The 20-year-old forward, who finished as top goalscorer at this year’s Multichoice Diski Challenge, is said to have attracted attention from elsewhere in the Absa Premiership following his exploits over the course of the season.
Letlotlo, or ‘Adebayor’ as he is affectionately known, managed to grab nine goals for the Amakhosi’s MDC side this season, however could do nothing to avoid his side finishing just sixth in the competition.
Now, according to Siya sources, Steve Komphela decided to promote the forward to the first team for a short while, playing him for 45 minutes in a friendly last week, scoring as they lost 2-1.
It remains to be seen what Komphela thought of the player after this most recent assessment, however he has now been sent back to train with the club’s development team.
