There could be big changes under Koeman, who replaced Quique Setien as first-team manager of Barcelona this week following their 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
While there were always going to be transfers, both incoming and outgoing, the Dutch tactician will look to employ his own ideas, and with that comes his own targets.
Various reports across Europe suggest that Koeman is interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, who has not yet extended his deal in England. The 29-year-old's current contract expires in 2021, and he could be tempted to reunite with his former Netherlands boss in Spain.
There are also claims that Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Donny van de Beek is another big target for Koeman as he is, like the aforementioned Wijnaldum, a player he has previously worked with.
Manchester City defender Eric Garcia could also still be on his way to the Blaugrana after he reportedly told the Citizens he will not sign a new deal. The 19-year-old is a product of Barcelona's academy, and is heavily tipped to return to the Camp Nou.
Memphis Depay is another who has been linked with the Catalans, but which players could be forced to leave? President Josep Maria Bartomeu named a few players who would not be for sale in an interview earlier this week, implying there are many first-team stars who could soon be on their way out.
