Kaizer Chiefs could be renewing their interest in former Al Ahly striker Walter Bwalya, with Siya sources to close to the club indicating that Amakhosi have a better chance of bringing in the DR Congo star.
The source also revealed that Chiefs' technical team feel they need another outright striker and Bwalya's name came up in one of the meetings.
The 28-year-old is currently a free agent and Chiefs were said to have inquired about his services during his time at Al Ahly that came to an end in August.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs Step Up Chase For Former Al Ahly Striker" story:
"What a cow this one has been, take him Chiefs. Plus, he is a FREE agent," says Zebra to hell.
"My team needs to invest in quality players. This thing of buying average players is not working for us. Khosi for life!" says T.sibiya.
"Chiefs needs to work on their system. The Maart, Castillo, and Mthethwa combination is not working, the sooner they realise that, the goals will start coming," says Snowman.
"For now we need a coach, a real coach. Ranga for me is a good striker, but Bwalya will definitely be a welcome inclusion. They can send that Gonzalez home.
"Then we need a keeper, after that, we will be good to go. We have a team of good players, all we need is a coach who will work on their mindset, a coach who will make them believe in themselves and be fighters on the field," says Siyaz.
"They should bring him and convert him into a cow just like their other recent signings. Yusuf Mart was playing for Bafana before joining them, look now. Ox Mthethwa will soon be forgotten," says Manephil.
"Something isn't adding up at Chiefs. Du Preez was top at Stellenbosch, Saile was top in Zambia, Chivaviro was top at Marumo, Gonzalez was grazing elsewhere and now Bwalya will soon be history," says Makausemakause53.
"They always target free agents and rejects from other teams," says Sipho.mokwene.
"They must sign him, proven goal scorer," says Sibali4Dawana.

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena and his captain Themba Zwane commented on Aubrey Modiba's stunning solo effort that saw Masandawana walk away as African Football League champions.
Downs saw off Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca in a 2-0 win at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday, winning the final tie 3-2 on aggregate.
Peter Shalulile opened the scoring in the first half before Aubrey Modiba benefitted from Sundowns' relentless press in the 53rd-minute, pouncing on a loose ball and evading the oncoming defenders before calmly chipping it into the back of the net.
Mshishi hailed Modiba's effort as a 'top goal' also, hilariously saying the 28-year-old has 'balls' to chip a keeper in such an important game.
Rulani echoed his skipper's sentiments, revealing that the move was worked on in training but gave full credit to Modiba for the audacious finish.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Rulani, Mshishi Weigh In On Modiba's R75m Goal" story:
"His potential is showing since he has been slotted into that midfield role. He hasn't shown us the quality of football that made his name at SuperSport but now with this new role, he is gradually going to that direction. He was a marvel to watch," says Jantjies.
"Hard work pays off," says Makausemakause53.
"Could have, should have and would have doesn't change the fact that after a month and a half, your favorites still can't move Sundowns from the top," says Shikabala.
"Some are eating humble pie after calling for Postman to leave instead of Lyle Lakay and boom, here we are. As supporters we must focus on our job, which is to support the team in good and bad moments, let the players do what they are paid to do, the same goes for the coach and his technical team," says Sakhilem9.
"Modiba is amazing, skilful clever. The Al Ahly coach spotted him. Overall, Downs players are all amazing. We love you boys, keep doing wonders. Now let's go for the two Big fishes, the DStv Prem and CAF CL," says Zebra to hell.
"Aubrey and the coach were heavily criticised by the supporters especially in that 5-2 with over Al Ahly but Postman has improved tremendously in recent times and thank you to the coach for sticking with the guy," says Shikabala.
"Mshishi and the amazing coach, you've both spoken well, it really took guts to score that goal. Credit to you, coach, for helping the boys to be calm during the final, it was an excellent performance. Congratulations to the club, the boys and you coach," says SkyKBY.
