Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Comments

Masandawana head coach Rulani Mokwena has shared an update regarding Thabiso Kutumela, who's tipped to leave Sundowns this transfer window after a two-season spell.

As stated by the Siya Crew, the player has attracted plenty of interest from DStv Premiership clubs, with Mokwena confirming that the 30-year-old ex-Buccaneer is a wanted man.

Mokwena says the club must be patient in making a deal because it has to make sense for not only the player but for Sundowns as well.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mokwena Confirms In Downs Star" story:

"Just release the boy and stop lying to us, we all know that you don't want to see him at Chiefs or Pirates," says msiphos.

"But he played for Pirates before, how does he [Mokwena] not want to see him there? Sometimes you must think before you accuse," replies fando0002.

"He has to go," says Saavedra.

"Because if he doesn't, his career will be completely destroyed," replies abelmotaung.

"The story of Kutumela is just that of a misfit at Sundowns. Him and Motupa were flops for me despite given enough time to prove themselves," says makhause(2).

"My man, we said it then and they refuse to acknowledge it that these guys ran after money. Kutumela, Motupa as well as Kapinga were rumoured to be on Chiefs' radar and as usual Sundowns pull-out all the stops to prevent them from going to Chiefs.

"Sundowns knew that this boy was not their material but just to ensure that the opposition was kept weak, they had signed him, now they are making excuses. Look where Zungu is now? Rulani went to his home in Tsakane to convince him not to sign for Chiefs, but rather be a bench warmer in Chloorkop. Serves him right," replies userThautha.

"Maybe you are right in your allegations against Sundowns weakening other teams (Chiefs in particular), but why would you want weak players (Kutumela and Motupa) in your team because that will make Chiefs even weaker? (as per your Chiefs wanting to sign Kutumela and Motupa before) comments.

"Would you say those players were going to make it at Chiefs?" asks makhause(2).

Sticking with Sundowns, Mokwena has acknowledged Chiefs' improvements under new head coach Molefi Ntseki.

The two sides face each other at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in a blockbuster DStv Premiership encounter tomorrow and speaking ahead of the clash, the young coach knows that Amakhosi are in the process of improving under a reshuffled technical team.

Mokwena highlighted Chiefs' attacking options up front and is wary of the physical threat Chiefs have, while also acknowledging that the Glamour Boys have made qualitative improvements.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mokwena: Chiefs Have Improved Under Ntseki" story:

"Chiefs will humble Rulani tomorrow," says thamivutisanikhosa.

"Picasso loves to sing in these interviews. Chiefs have been playing this type of football forever, after the Orlando split, they instead chose to play a system with 3 strikers upfront and a number 10 behind them, 1 big striker like Mbesuma/Nomvethe/Kaizer Jr in the middle with Pule and Mooki on the flanks all of them are strikers but hold different roles in the transition.

"That system is still in place, but the players are not good enough for it and it will not be very effective because it needs a classic 10 like Ntshangase. Another flop is that they only apply the system in the senior team," says Slow_Poison.

"In other developments, Billiat has decided to rejoin trophy winners Sundowns and forget about his fruitless seasons at Naturena," says makhause(2).

"For Rulani to say Chiefs have improved under Ntseki following their unsuccessful friendlies and a draw in their first league match is somewhat sarcastic and an insult to the former coach, Zwane, and the current one, Ntseki. This demonstrates Rulani's immaturity. Some respect by Rulani to both Chiefs and its technical team is warranted," says says thiambi.netshiluvhi.

"Inside he is dying from laughter," says Charles Manyike.

"Rulani has no respect, you don't profile opposition players in a press conference as if it's your team, You have no manners," says patrick.makhubu.

"Based on the previous game, I honestly didn't see any improvement. But they may surprise us tomorrow. The least they can get is to loss by the odd goal, otherwise it could be worse. It will be a long afternoon for them unfortunately. 5-1, Downs win," says Downs rule.

"Mokwena you are not a coach you' are Mpimpi (snitch), you did it at Pirates, you snitched on Micho and Khoza dismissed him because of your lies, then you failed to deliver the promise you told Khoza, and you went Sundowns to snitch on Maqoba, who was demoted.

"You are nothing but a snitch. Zwane is far better than you and he started [last season] to train a new team with his development players, what player have developed from a young age? Komphela is also gone because of you," says Scara 11.

"You are wrong, factually wrong," says Amen.

"Baring dubious match officiating, this will be a field day for Sundowns. A chance for Shalulile to pull clear on goals and Ribeiro will also fancy this one," says makhause(2).

"This one is busy with mind games. Mr. Mokoena, concentrate on your team and I'll listen to you after the game tomorrow, what I like is that they'll not be making it easy this season.

"Actually, what happened last season is history, Sundowns don't normally beat Chiefs twice in a season and yeah like I said, it's history now and history is for students. This is reality. let's reset and start from zero," says userThautha.
