Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Comments

Kaizer Chiefs have set their sights on Maritzburg United's talent midfielder Rowan Human, who's had a one-year option exercised on his contract by the Team of Choice.

The 22-year-old SA Under-23 skipper has been a standout in the play-offs, bagging three goals in as many games in Maritzburg's push to retain their top flight status.

With KwaZulu Natal outfit being on the ball and extending Human's contract, Chiefs will have to fork out some cash to secure the services of the midfield sensation.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Maritzburg Deflect Chiefs Interest In Human Race" story:

"Maybe they are deflecting Chiefs because of the playoffs focus. I don't think they will be able to retain him if they will be relegated. Chiefs will also be wasting his talent if he will be signed under the coaching of Zwane," says matemane

"He is a good player but at Chiefs we need players like Jali, Kamvuidi, Ighodaro, Domingo, Ohizu or Mhango," says mlekeleli.

"If Maritzburg gets relegated, i wish my Sundowns would sign this young talented player," says Zebra to Hell.

"Hayi this Kaizer Chiefs... why would they go for Human instead of Kimvuidi? Maybe they want to revive FC AK. Let's wait and see," says mthunzijack7.

Sticking with Kaizer Chiefs, the Soweto giants are said to be interested in signing Etiosa Ighodaro and face stiff competition from Chippa United who want to hold onto the striker for another season.

The Chilli Boys are potentially in talks with Sundowns about keeping the 21-year-old Nigerian striker, who scored ten league goals this season, two behind Peter Shalulile.

The Soccer Laduma's Siya Crew revealed that the Sundowns loanee is wanted by French side Stade Reims, Belgian outfit KVC Westerlo and Egyptian giants Zamalek.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chippa Aim To Beat Chiefs To Ighodaro?" story:

"What a great striker, it will be a waste of talent if he joined the cows from Soweto," says Eduardo Dos Santos.

"There is a saying, 'once beaten twice shy'. Chiefs introduced a lot of young Nigerian players whom I wouldn't mention. I wouldn't advice Chiefs to go that route unless they want their MDC players facing danger. I am saying this based on a saying, 'kids are good imitators'," says Soccer Fanatic.

"Hands off our player," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
