Kaizer Chiefs announced the departure of academy graduate Siyabonga Ngezana on their social media pages on Thursday morning.

The defender has penned a deal with Romanian giants Fotbal Club FCSB, formally known as Steaua Bucharesti, for an undisclosed fee.

Ngezana came through Amakhosi's youth ranks before being promoted in 2017, establishing himself as an important member of Chiefs' squad over the last six years.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Breaking: Chiefs Confirm Massive Exit!" story:

"7 seasons with nothing to show in terms of trophies or medals. Siphelele Mkhulise has spent almost same period and has more than 5 gold medals," says Thulasmda.

"Farewell young man represent Mzansi well," says pholasti.

"I'm Sundowns fan, but I'm happy for Ngezana, that a wise move for him!" says sikhumbuzondl.

"All the best Ngezana. Go and represent RSA well there as you will called a SA international soon. Please represent us well, don't do those silly mistakes you were doing here, GOOD LUCK BOY," says Richard wa Lekhosi.

"What is massive here? Ngezana leaving?" says Fela.

"Good news, good timing for him to move. We wish him well as a Khosi Nation," says toni.siyabulela11.

"That's MAKHOSI for you. No need for BOLT CUTTERS when players are suppose to further their careers OVERSEAS. GOOD LUCK 'SKERO'. Go and represent MAKHOSI development with aplomb," says generalmj.

"Ngezana was least expected to move to a big European club with a great history, given his struggles at Chiefs and constant abuse and criticism from football supporters at large. He is leaving a whole lot of preferred Centre Backs behind, including those in the National Team," says mthunzijack7.
