Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Mamelodi Sundowns claimed a 2-0 win over Tshwane rivals SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday and returned to the top of the DStv Premiership standings.

Goals from Peter Shalulile and Lucas Ribeiro helped Downs win a ninth successive league game since the start of the season, setting a new PSL record.

The African Football League winners had not played a league game since late September and were temporarily leapfrogged at the top of the table by Cape Town City over the weekend, they've now reclaimed their number one spot, with four games in hand.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Shalulile Ribeiro Reclaim Top Spot For Sundowns" story:

"It was one of those games where Sundowns couldn't really dominate but still went on and won the match," says makausemakause53.

"Ayeye, we are back!" says Dominate-downs.

"According to Gavin Hunt, SuperSport should have won the game. Chiefs supporters were right about the guy, he's out of touch with reality," says Shikabala.

"Dankie Masandawana for normalising the league," says Manephil.

"The headline should read as follows: THE LEAGUE TABLE LOOKS NORMAL AGAIN," says Downs rule.

Speaking after the Tshwane Derby, SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt felt his side had enough chances to get a result against Rulani Mokwena's Sundowns.

While Matsatsantsa did miss several chances, Hunt also admitted that his side's defending for the first goal could have been better.

Hunt says he can't fault his young players for their efforts but felt that his side could've built a strong lead before Masandawana before Shalulile opened the scoring in the 31st minute.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Hunt: We Had More Opportunities Than Sundowns" story:

"Mr Hunt, I'm not sure, maybe I was watching a different game from the one you were watching. Sundowns had more opportunities to score than Supersport United.

"Riberio was supposed to score at least three goals, Shalulile two and Maboe three and Margeman almost scored an own goal or are you talking about that opportunity?" asks bhekilekhuleni6.

"Had it not being for Maboe being indecisive in the final third, the score line could have been worse," says Downs rule.

"Please blame your 'kids' Hunt because that is always your line after losing to Downs. They will never grow, the likes of Arubi, Hlatshwayo, Pfumbidzai, Lungu, Margeman, Lakay, Dzvukamanja, and Grobler are still kids against Sundowns.
