Mamelodi Sundowns were off to a slow start at the beginning of the Absa Premiership 2017/18 campaign, but it wasn't long before Masandawana swiftly turned things around and regained form.
The Pretoria giants have managed to keep top spot on the log on lock since first occupying it in December 2017. There is no doubt that Sundowns have a solid squad, from the bench to the starting line-up.
Despite having a strong team of players, the spotlight has been on the hard-working Percy Tau, who has been consistently bossing games over the campaign. The attacking midfielder has contributed positively in Downs' current great run in all competitions, and the 23-year old's impressive form has led some supporters and coaches to already tip him for Player of the Year award glory, including his own coach, Pitso Mosimane.
