'If Parking The Bus Means Getting Points, Then It's The Way To Go'

'If Parking The Bus Means Getting Points, Then It's The Way To Go'

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela has talked down the "park the bus" accusation.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Soweto Derby earlier this week, Komphela said he does not recall a single match where his side parked the bus. He further went on to say that statements made about Amakhosi parking the bus are misleading, insisting that the Glamour Boys never park the bus.

Supporters Club members have reacted to Komphela's statement:

"How does the coach explain six defenders in his starting line-up? I don't know whether Komphela is fooling us or himself. But the truth is if he doesn't see anything wrong with his system, then he will never win any trophy in the PSL." – chaledi

"If parking the bus means getting points, then it's the way to go. We are not playing to satisfy any of our opposition. Park the bus and get maximum points." – the great khosiological

"Prof Komphela applies 9-1-0 formation. It is difficult, if not impossible, to score against this formation." – setlaboswana

"What does the coach call this 10-0-0 formation?" – Anti-Rat + Zebra

"Yah neh! Coach, let's just put it simple, we offer less in terms of attack because the majority of our attacking players are helping out the three center backs you play. When last did we score four goals? That's if we ever did since you came." – MALOSE

What do you think of the 'park the bus' statements when it comes to Amakhosi?
