Kaizer Chiefs supporters' long wait to see Kabelo Mahlasela make his debut for their club could finally be over, if reports about the midfielder's recovery are anything to go by.
Mahlasela joined the Glamour Boys in January, but was unfortunately suffered an injury during training shortly after joining the club from Bloemfontein Celtic.
As reported by the Siya crew, the 27-year old's road to recovery seems to be on the right track as the player is expected to return to full training in two weeks. Some Supporters Club members and a few Amakhosi faithful could not be more ecstatic.
"Great news indeed. It is unfortunate that with the current coach, one cannot be certain that his skills will be appreciated. I hope coach Komphela doesn't bench Mahlasela until the latter is able to prove that he could be a good defender as well. But I have no doubt that if Mahlasela can be fielded for his attacking prowess and nothing else, the team will benefit from his skills. I'm of the view that beyond Katsande, if we can have attack-minded players, Ntshangase, Shabba, Zuma, Castro and Mahlasela, I have no doubt that we will have opponents more worried about defending than firing warning shots at us like Baroka did recently." – khosibybirth548
"I can't wait to watch this boy (Mahlasela) wearing Black and Gold harassing defenders left and right." – Myaka weliPhefeni
"That is good news." – MSANDROTIC
"Good news! We can't wait to see our dribbling wizard in action and we hope the injury is not recurring and doesn't affect him psychologically in 50/50 challenges." – dr ss zondi
"I can't wait to see him." – Iminald Khosified
"We need you, boy." – Phikza
