Sundowns completed a memorable treble last season with the Nedbank Cup after edging Marumo Gallants 2-1 in the final, which set a new record tally of titles in this competition to four under the current sponsors.

The Brazilians are all but guaranteed the league title this season with a 23-point lead at the top of the table after a narrow 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates this past Saturday.

The sides met at this stage last season as Sundowns thrashed Richards Bay, who were campaigning in the Motsepe Foundation Championship at the time.

The Natal Rich Boyz are on a slump of three games without a win after they narrowly lost 1-0 against Swallows the last time out.

Richards Bay competed better in the first round meeting in early January last month although they went on to lose 2-0 to Sundowns, who have won all their league games since September last year.

Here's how they line up:

Mamelodi Sundowns: D.Onyango, Morena, Ngobeni, Mvala, Lebusa, Mbule, Kapinga, Mkhulise, Shalulile, Ralani

Subs: Pieterse, De Reuck, Jali, Kutumela, Maema, Coetzee, Modiba, Mokoena, Mailula

Richards Bay FC: Magoola, Maphathe, Mabua, Shabalala, Nyauza, Mtolo, Barns, Zungu, Hlongwa, Mthembu, Ntsundwana.
