Orlando Pirates go in search of the cup double when they take on Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup final this evening.

The Buccaneers have already enjoyed success in the MTN8 this season after defeating AmaZulu in November last year.

Jose Riveiro's charges overcame lower league opposition in the first three rounds in All Stars, Dondol Stars and Venda Football Academy, before they defeated Kaizer Chiefs in extra-time in the semi-finals.

Pirates were also victorious in their last DStv Premiership clash last weekend after thrashing AmaZulu 4-1 to secure a CAF Champions League spot.

The Soweto giants come up against a Sekhukhune side in their first-ever final after defeating Liver Brothers, Cape Town Spurs, Chippa United and Stellenbosch in the previous rounds.

Sekhukhune are unbeaten against Pirates in the league this season after securing a 2-0 win on home soil before the two sides played to a 1-1 draw two weeks ago at Orlando Stadium.

Brandon Truter's side also come into the clash in high spirits after defeating SuperSport United 1-0 in their last league encounter seven days ago.
