While City have not played since their quarter-final fixture, Pirates have been involved in CAF Champions League action after defeating Disciples FC 4-0 on aggregate in the last week.
The Buccaneers have won their last three meetings with Citizens, including a 2-0 win at DHL Stadium back in May.
