Pirates secured their place at this stage after hammering Sekhukhune United 5-0 in the quarter-finals after Zakhele Lepasa scored a hat-trick, with the other goals scored by Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Monnapule Saleng.

The Buccaneers are on a three-match winning streak in all competitions after beating Cape Town City 2-0 on Tuesday.

Stellenbosch, on the other hand, needed extra-time to edge SuperSport United 1-0 in the quarter-finals thanks to a goal by Andre de Jong and setup a meeting with the holders of the trophy.
