SuperSport United will have a chance to climb up to second in the DStv Premiership standings when they host Cape Town City on Saturday evening.

Teams: SuperSport United v Cape Town City

Date: 04 February 2023

Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

Time: 17h30

SuperSport have slowed down in form, as they extended their winless run to four matches after a goalless draw against Swallows last weekend.

However, Matsatsantsa still held on to third place on the table and will leapfrog second-placed Richards Bay if they get back to winning ways.

SuperSport have acquired the services of Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa on loan until the end of the season following the departure of forward Iqraam Rayners, who returned to Stellenbosch on loan.

City, meanwhile, could not extend their unbeaten run beyond three matches after they narrowly lost a five-goal thriller against Stellies in a Cape derby just over a week ago.

The Citizens dropped down to ninth on the table as a result and will be looking to return to the top eight.
