Orlando Pirates will be aiming to start their DStv Premiership season on a high when they travel to Stellenbosch on Saturday evening.

Pirates had an impressive 2022/23 season after finishing second on the table, as they qualified for the CAF Champions League and won the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup double.
The Buccaneers will be hoping to be more consistent in the league this season and have bolstered the squad with six new signings, Lesedi Kapinga, Karim Kimvuidi, Melusi Buthelezi, Patrick Maswanganyi, Siphelo Baloni and Katlego Otladisa.
The Soweto giants have also recalled Zakhele Lepasa and Azola Matrose, from their loan spells at SuperSport United and Chippa United, respectively.

Stellenbosch, meanwhile, finished in sixth place on the log last season and will be looking to make an improvement.
The Western Cape side had two key departures in Junior Mendieta who was signed by Mamelodi Sundowns and Olwethu Makhanya, who was signed by United States of America side Philadelphia Union.
Stellies have made a number of new signings, including Kgaogelo Sekgota, Genino Palace and Thabo Moloisane, Olivier Toure and Oscarine Masuluke among others.
