Mamelodi Sundowns are back in DStv Premiership action on Sunday afternoon, as they take on Stellenbosch FC at the Danie Craven Stadium.

DStv Premiership

Teams: Stellenbosch v Mamelodi Sundowns

Date: 05 March 2023

Venue: Danie Craven Stadium

Time: 15h30

Sundowns have not been in league action since edging Orlando Pirates 1-0 in early February, a win that extended their record streak to 15 matches in a row.

The Brazilians, however, had only a two days' rest after defeating Marumo Gallants 3-1 on Thursday in the Nedbank Cup round of 16.

The Tshwane side will enter this afternoon's encounter 19 points clear at the top of the log and another win would edge them closer to the league title.

Stellies, meanwhile, are on a good run of form as they have won four consecutive games in all competitions after edging Richards Bay 2-1 last weekend.

Three consecutive victories in the league have lifted Steve Barker's charges up to tenth on the table and another win will take them back into the top eight.

Sundowns will be looking to complete a league double over the Cape Winelands outfit after securing a 3-0 win in the reverse fixture.

Here's how they line up:
