Sekhukhune United will be gunning for their fourth consecutive victory in the DStv Premiership when they host Swallows on Friday evening.

DStv Premiership

Teams: Sekhukhune United v Swallows FC

Date: 20 January 2023

Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium

Time: 19h30

New Sekhukhune head coach Brandon Truter has hit the ground running, on a three-game winning running and yet to lose after they followed their narrow win over Kaizer Chiefs with another 1-0 win over Stellenbosch 1-0 last Saturday.

Babina Noko's winning run has propelled them up to seventh on the table with 21 points and will leapfrog Chiefs in fourth place if they win their fourth consecutive game.

New Swallows head coach Ernst Middendorp, on the other hand, has had mixed results with only four points from his first four games in charge.

After back-to-back defeats, Middendorp has steadied the ship somewhat, as the Birds kept two clean-sheets in the last two games, the last one being a goalless draw against TS Galaxy this past Sunday, which has left the side in 14th spot.

Sekhukhune will be looking to turn the tables after losing the first round clash 2-1 in August last year.

Here's how they line up:

Sekhukhune United: 30. Sangare, 4. Cardoso, 2. Mobbie, 36. Ntiya-Ntiya, 39. Gyimah, 15. Kabwe, 18. Seabi, 17. Mokwana, 21. Letsoalo, 8. Leepile, 34. Ohizu.
