SuperSport United will be looking to bounce back from cup humiliation when they travel to Royal AM on Saturday afternoon.

SuperSport were dumped out of the Nedbank Cup in the first round by ABC Motsepe League side Dondol Stars the last time out and will be fired up to respond.

Prior to their 2-1 defeat to Dondol, Matsatsantsa had ended a four-game winless run after beating Cape Town City 2-0 in the league.

United will also look to consolidate their second position on the table, as they are just a point above Orlando Pirates and Richards Bay, who are lying third and fourth respectively.

Royal AM, meanwhile, will be in good spirits after they progressed to the round of 16 of the Nedbank Cup following their penalty shootout win over the Citizens.

Thwihli Thwahla also won for the first time in four matches after they beat Golden Arrows the last time out in the league and jumped up to ninth on the table.

SuperSport are chasing a league double over Royal AM after registering a 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture earlier this season,
