Sundowns extended their perfect start to four matches after beating Chippa United 2-0 last weekend thanks to goals by Aubrey Modiba and Justice Chabalala, who scored into his own net.

The Brazilians will set a new record of consecutive victories from the start of the season to five matches if they beat the Natal Rich Boyz.

Rulani Mokwena's charges are at the summit of the standings with 12 points, five points clear of second-placed SuperSport United, who have a game in hand.

In contrast, Richards Bay had a bad start to the season after losing their first two games against Matsatsantsa and Golden Arrows.

However, Kaitano Tembo's troops picked up their first point of the campaign after playing to a goalless draw against AmaZulu last weekend. The KwaZulu-Natal side are placed 14th on the table with one point from three matches.

The Brazilians completed a league double over Richards Bay last season after beating them 2-0 away in first round courtesy of goals by Cassius Mailula and Haashim Domingo.

The Tshwane giants edged the Natal Rich Boyz 1-0 in the return fixture, as Thapelo Morena scored the decisive goal, in April this year.
