Richards Bay will be desperate to avoid their seventh consecutive defeat in the DStv Premiership when they host neighbours Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal derby on Saturday afternoon at King Zwelithini Stadium.

Teams: Richards Bay v Golden Arrows

Date: 08 April 2023

Venue: King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium

Time: 15h00

Richards Bay have been on a free fall and despite making coaching changes, with Vasili Manousakis appointed sole head coach, they lost for the sixth consecutive game after going down 2-0 against Orlando Pirates last weekend.

The Natal Rich Boyz are now in danger of losing their top eight spot, lying sixth on the table, just two points ahead of Sekhukhune United, Arrows and Royal AM, who are all tied on points just outside the top half of the table.

As for Arrows, they remained in the running to finish in the top eight after taking four points from their last two games, the last of which was a goalless draw against Sekhukhune.

Abafana Bes'thende are placed tenth on the table and a win will take them to the top eight.

Richards Bay will be encouraged that they beat Arrows 2-0 in the first round courtesy of goals in either half by Somila Ntsundwana and Abel Mabaso and will have a chance to complete a double over their provincial rivals.

Here's how they line up:
