Struggling Richards Bay will be eager to end their winless streak in the DStv Premiership when they host relegation-threatened Chippa United.

DStv Premiership

Teams: Richards Bay v Chippa United

Date: 03 May 2023

Venue: King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium

Time: 19h30

The Natal Rich Boys enter this evening's clash winless in their last 11 league encounters, which included a 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns last week.

Richards Bay's last victory in the top-flight came against Marumo Gallants in January, but it has been nothing short of disappointment since then.

Vasili Manousakis' charges currently sit seven points above the relegation with three games to go, but a win this evening will seal their top-flight status.

Chippa, meanwhile, will be desperate to pick up maximum points after losing 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs last week.

The defeat to the Soweto giants has left Chippa in 15th position, two points behind 14th-placed Marumo Gallants who face bottom side Maritzburg United before this game.

The two sides played to an entertaining encounter earlier this season after sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw at the Bidvest Stadium.
