Marumo Gallants continue their fight against relegation when they take on struggling Chippa United this evening.

DStv Premiership

Teams: Marumo Gallants v Chippa United

Date: 12 April 2023

Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium

Time: 19h30

The Limpopo outfit gave their survival hopes a big boost last week after defeating Royal AM 3-1 before they drew 1-1 with Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend.

The point against Chiefs took Gallants off the foot of the table and into the relegation play-off spot with five games to go.

Gallants enter the clash two points behind tonight's opponents, who have failed to win their last six league matches.

As they have done in seasons gone by, the Chippa hierarchy have reconstructed the coaching staff as Kurt Lentjies has been redeployed to the Diski Challenge side while Siyabulela Gwambi will take charge of the first team for the rest of the season.

The Chilli Boys sit in 14th position as things stand, but they can climb to two spots higher with maximum points this evening.

Chippa can take courage from the face that they defeated Gallants 1-0 earlier in the season thanks Ronaldo Maarman's second-half strike.

Here's how they line up:
