Maritzburg ended their four-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over TS Galaxy early this month but they got another set-back after a last-gasp 1-0 loss to Sekhukhune United just under two weeks ago.

The Team of Choice have since slipped to the bottom of the table, four points behind 14th-placed Swallows, with five matches to go.

Maritzburg will be without Bradley Cross and Jose Ali Meza due to suspensions.

As for their neighbours, Richard Bay will be desperate of ending their their losing streak after a 1-0 defeat to provincial rivals Golden Arrows the last time out extended their run to seven straight defeats.

The Natal Rich Boyz have since slipped out of the top eight and are lying ninth on the table and will be among a host of clubs looking to qualify for the top eight.

The visitors will have to do without veteran midfielder Abel Mabaso, who is suspended for this clash.

The sides could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw in the first round meeting in October last year.
