Chiefs kept their hopes of finishing second on the table alive after edging ten-man Stellenbosch 2-1 last weekend after goals by Ashley Du Preez and Keagan Dolly and extended their winning streak in the league to four matches.

The Glamour Boys are placed fourth on the log, three points behind second-placed SuperSport United but can move third if they win and Orlando Pirates drop points against Chippa United.

Gallants, on the other hand, returned from their CAF Confederation Cup exploits, where they qualified for the quarter-finals as winners of their group after edging Saint Eloi Lupopo 3-2, to league action in midweek.
