Date: 28 October 2023

Venue: Mpumalanga Stadium

Chiefs will be looking to turn around their fortunes after they lost their fourth game in five matches in all competitions following a 1-0 defeat to AmaZulu in the Carling Knockout and former head coach Molefi Ntseki was relieved of his duties as a result.

Amakhosi's latest encounter in the league was a narrow 1-0 loss to Cape Town City and find themselves lying eight on the log with 11 points.

The Glamour Boys have announced that Edmilson Dove, Ashley Du Preez and Siyethemba Sithebe are all out injured for this clash.

Arrows, on the other hand, will be oozing confidence as they carried their league form into the Carling Knockout after progressing to the quarter-finals with a 3-1 thrashing of Cape Town City, which was their third win in a row across the two tournaments.

Abafana Bes'thende's last game in the league was a narrow 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United and are lying an impressive third on the table with 17 points.

The sides had a win apiece in their duels last season as Chiefs beat Arrows 2-0 in the first round away and Abafana Bes'thende turned the tables with a 3-2 win at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
