Orlando Pirates entertain MC Alger in the second leg of their CAF Champions League quarter-final this evening.

CAF Champions League

Teams: Orlando Pirates v MC Alger

Date: 09 April 2025

Venue: Orlando Stadium

The Buccaneers enter this evening's encounter with a 1-0 advantage after last week's first leg in Algiers.

As a result, Jose Riveiro's men are the only team left in the competition yet to suffer a defeat this season.

Pirates did not have a lot of rest for the encounter, as they were involved in Betway Premiership action on Saturday after defeating Polokwane City 1-0.

Alger, meanwhile, will have to overcome their poor form on the road if they are to stand a chance of winning.

The Algerians have failed to win their last four away matches in the tournament, which includes three draws and a loss.

Here's how they line up:

Orlando Pirates: Chaine, Van Rooyen, Sibisi, Xoki, Mbokazi, Hotto, Makhaula, Mbatha, Nkota, Mofokeng, Makgopa

Subs: Buthelezi, Maela, Mako, Shandu, Rasebotja, Ndlondlo, Maswanganyi, Radiopane, Mabasa

MC Alger: Moussaouni, Khelif, Draoui, Ghezala, Abdellaoui, Benkhemassa, Halamia, Naidji, Bangoura, Bouras, Tabti

Subs: Belkir, Hamidi, Menezla, Zunon, Zougrana, Boussaid, Messoussa, Merzougui, Bayazid
