After exiting the competition at this stage to Galaxy last season, the Buccaneers are now on the verge of reaching the group stage phase.
Jose Riveiro's currently lead the tie 2-0 on aggregate thanks to last week's win in Botswana, with Tshegofatso Mabasa and Deon Hotto getting the goals.
The Buccaneers were in action on Wednesday evening as they battled from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Chippa United in their Betway Premiership opener.
Galaxy, meanwhile, have had the full seven days to prepare for the encounter but will need to overturn a two-goal deficit.
The Botswana giants lost 1-0 in this second-leg last season but went on to eliminate Pirates via the penalty shoot-out.
