Orlando Pirates will start their CAF Champions League journey when they visit Madagascan side CS Disciples in the first preliminary round, first-leg on Sunday afternoon at National Sports Complex.

Pirates qualified for the tournament after they finished second in the Betway Premiership standings last season.
The Buccaneers have already opened their campaign after a 3-1 win over SuperSport United in the MTN8, in extra-time, courtesy of goals by Olisa Ndah, Monnapule Saleng and Evidence Makgopa.
The Soweto giants were knocked out in the second preliminary round last term after losing on penalties against Jwaneng Galaxy, following a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
Disciples, on the other hand, made it to the tournament after they won the Malagasy Pro League.
CNaPS Sport are yet to reopened their campaign since their last fixture in June.
Disciples were last in the competition in 2018 but they were knocked out 2-1 on aggregate by Zimbabwean outfit FC Platinum in the preliminary round.
