Sundowns will be motivated to return to winning ways after their 2-1 loss against Stellenbosch in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals ended their 26-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

The Brazilians qualified for the quarter-finals of this tournament after finishing unbeaten at the top of Group B after they rounded off the section with a 2-1 win over Coton Sport.

Belouizdad, meanwhile, made it to the quarter-finals as runners-up in Group D following their goalless draw with ES Tunis, who finished ahead of them by one point.

The Algerian side are at the top of their domestic league table by five points, with two games in hand and lost for the first time after 20 games following a 3-1 loss to MC Oran on Monday.

The sides met in the group stages of this competition in the 2020/21 season, where Sundowns hammered ten-man Belouizdad 5-1 in matchday two, who were down to ten men from the first three minutes, courtesy of a brace by Themba Zwane and goals from Peter Shalulile, Lebohang Maboe and Kermit Erasmus.

The Great Chabab turned the tables in the reverse after beating the Tshwane giants 2-0 in the last group game at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, although Sundowns had already qualified for the quarter-finals and rested key players.

Here's how they line up:

Mamelodi Sundowns: Williams, Mbule, Mvala, Boutouil, Mudau, Morena, Modiba, Mokoena, Zwane, Maema, Shalulile

Subs: D.Onyango, De Reuck, Zungu, Sirino, Mkhulise, Nasir, Mashego, Mailula, Maboe
