Mamelodi Sundowns will begin their CAF Champions League campaign when they travel to Bumamuru in the CAF Champions second preliminary round on Friday afternoon.

Sundowns had a bye in the first preliminary round and are only entering the tournament in the second preliminary round.
The Brazilians were last in action two weeks ago after a Khuliso Mudau stoppage time equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg.
The Tshwane giants were eliminated in the semi-finals of this competition last season by Wydad Casablanca on away goals and were unbeaten throughout the campaign.
Bumamuru, on the other hand, are the champions of Burundi after winning the league by a point last season.
The Burundian side qualified for the CAF Champions League for the first time and setup a meeting with Sundowns after hammering CS Bendje of Gabon 6-2 on aggregate in the first preliminary round.
