Rulani Mokwena did not have his full squad at his disposal, as seven of his players were with Bafana Bafana on Tuesday evening in Cote d'Ivoire.
All of those players, including Ronwen Williams, Themba Zwane, Teboho Mokoena and Khuliso Mudau have made the trip with Sundowns for this evening's clash.
These two sides are not strangers, having last met in the 2021/22 CAF Champions League season where the Angolan giants eliminated Sundowns in the quarter-final round on the away-goal rule.
During that tie, Sundowns' trip to the Estadio 11 de Novembro ended in a 2-1 defeat in the first leg.
